Avalon friends: I am not supposed to talk about this- but I have never been good at keeping my mouth shut, I count it as one if my qualities. My supervisor, Lenny Alther lied to my coworkers and me about a job where he said there was no lead paint, after getting a test report that said it was everywhere. He sent us in unprotected to sand, scrape, grind, torch, and weld; putting all of us and our families at risk. After discovering this we reported it to the higher ups who placed him on paid leave for a very short time, but rumor has it he is coming back soon. Feel free to tell everyone you know about this miscarriage of justice, including the administrative staff and board members of the Conservancy, and feel especially free to tell Lenny how you feel about it.
