Away from the questioning of Mallam Ribadu’s integrity, another watery question the APC have raised bothers on politics on the basis of principles. To what extent can a politician be said to be principled since politics has not stopped being a game of interests? If members of the APC are suddenly parading themselves as politicians with principle, perhaps the principle behind the governor of Yobe state being a member of the APC must be questioned. Whereas Lagos earned N219B as IGR in 2012 and spent N76.5B on wages, Yobe State earned about N1.7B in the same period while spending a whopping N18B on wages.
