Awesome day out on the water, actually caught a nice 31cm Flounder but didnt look like much of a feed so he went back. Now, the funny thing is I lost one of my crab pots about 2 months just in front of Wave Break Is. and the previous times I have been out since I could swear that the round patch under the water must be my pot, the other week I attempted to retrieve the pot but lost it’s position. Today when I was out I saw the same round patch, I’m thinking this has to be my pot. Now after approx. an hour of dragging my anchor over the patch as advised to try by a friend of mine, it hooked. I reversed my way into shore hoping not to loose my anchors grip on the pot. I brought it up onto my boat, And wished I never did, as you can see by the photo’s the pot has turned into a an underwater aquatic life marine park. It had 4 crabs stuck in it, after some cutting of net all returned to the water. But at least I have found one of my pots lost even though its covered in weed and barckennels. In other news of the day I did see a couple of white pointers on a a party house boat.
