Awesome show tonight with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker and Molly Hatchet. MH got the show started at 7:30 and their 45min setlist included three songs I knew: Flirtin with Disaster, Whiskey Man and Gator Country. Dave Hlubek does a good job in the role of lead singer but its not quite the same without Danny Joe. Marshall Tucker Band only covered a 35 min set probably because Doug Gray was losing his voice after the first few songs. Got to be a hard grind on the road like that for a 65 year old. They managed to work in: Cant You See, Fire on the Mountain, and Heard It in a Love Song. The crowd was there to see Skynyrd and they put on a fantastic show covering a lot of their hits and closing with Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird. Their set ran around 75 minutes. All three bands were very patriot giving shout outs and dedications to our men and women in the Services. I always appreciate that! My wife didnt like Molly Hatchet and wore ear plugs thru their entire set but she did enjoy the other acts. A great concert in my opinion. Check them out if you like Southern Rock and they come thru your town. Highly recommended.
