Awhile ago, I was referred by a friend to a family in Chicago. The father called me to ask if I could come to the hospital to work with their newly born child. The baby was 3 days old and born with a knotted intestine. She was crying profusely while in severe pain from the defect and was scheduled for surgery the next day. The next morning in the hospital, I put my hands through the gloves that led into the incubator…and placed them on the belly of the little girl. Then I asked a blessing upon her. The next afternoon the father called and spoke excitedly telling me that his daughter was now fine and out of distress.
