Awiben is being consigned for a breeder who has left the business, - TopicsExpress

Awiben is being consigned for a breeder who has left the business, and she is living at my farm. This female has stellar lineage, conformation and fiber density with a pleasing fineness and handle. She proved herself worthy in the show ring in years gone by, is a pleasure to handle at home, and is a beautiful animal to observe. Awibens first cria arrived via a textbook perfect birth in early August 2008. She was up and nursing quickly and Awiben was a terrific first time mom. Little Maggie thrived and was over 43 lbs at 2 months old. Maggie followed in her dams footsteps by earning her first ribbon at the CABO show and selling easily at 10 months of age. Awiben has been so far unsuccessful in producing another cria. She has had two full term unsuccessful births(neither were dystocias) since her first cria. She is being sold as a companion or fiber animal without any guarantees. We wanted to try her one more time, so bred her again this past fall. She is behaving appropriately for pregnancy during my every other week behavior checks. Either way, she is a great addition to your fiber business, having a good staple length and consistency, even into her middle age. She sells with no reproductive guarantees, but was bred in late October to my MSG herdsire. $850
