Ayyam / Hafez Gallery - Jeddah Founders: Khaled Samawi & Jouhayna Samawi Lighting Design: ERCO Dubai City: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia The art gallery showcases and promotes the work of 50 regional artists currently associated with Ayyam. The exhibits and themes of the gallery keep changing on a regular basis. Thus a very flexible, art friendly solution was provided using ERCO’s Track mounted LED Optec spotlights. Optec LED spotlights offers high CRI & Luminous efficacy, dimming options including DALI and 6 light distributions from narrow spot to oval flood using interchangeable spherolit lenses . This solution provided the options to meet the changing requirements to illuminate varying art works, be it the size, shape and colour of the artefacts either by accentuating each and every piece of art individually or by providing uniform wallwashing on the vertical planes displaying artworks.
