BAD KIDS! I am not one that espouses that kids are bad. Usually if you have a bad kid a jacked up parent or parents are to blame. However there are times that a kid will just be a kid. Case in point...many years ago I was at the station. I got a call from a patrol that had responded to a domestic. They asked would I come to the scene. So I went. Upon arrival I find out we have a 13 year old kid that had skipped school since Monday and had been smoking dope in his room. Mind you this was Friday. His dad came back home after leaving for work because he had forgotten something. He caught him...and gave him a whoopin. This little wombat had called the police on his father. I checked him out and he had no injuries. So I told the patrols to go back routine. Then I set the father and son down at the table. I told the father I would be leaving. And when I left to whoop his ass again. Then I told that little wombat if he called the police I was going to come back and arrest him for smoking dope. This father was trying to do the right thing. These idiots I see on FB. That beat these kids or curse them out while all of it is being taped are idiots. That is not discipline and it is ridiculous and childish. More importantly it can get you locked up.
