#BBC has announced its TV schedule for Christmas 2014 and viewers are in for a few treats. The listing includes the controversial #TopGear episode in Argentina which has resulted in the country submitting a complaint to the BBC Trust. Two final episodes of comedy #Miranda and a tribute to Rick Mayall will be aired as well. The usual Christmas special of #Eastenders is part of the programme and a return to #StrictlyComeDancing by Sir Bruce Forsyth. The schedule includes: #MrsBrownsBoys – comedy fans will be treated to two episodes of family chaos. Top Gear: Patagonia Special – the controversial South American trip. Strictly Come Dancing – Sir Bruce Forsyth returns for a pantomime special. #DoctorWho – Father Christmas makes an appearance. #TheGreatBritishBakeOff Xmas Masterclass – Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood will give baking tips on Christmas pudding and mince pies. #CalltheMidwife – the episode will see Jennifer prepping for Christmas 2005. Michael McIntyre’s Very Christmassy Christmas Show – the stand-up will be joined by celebrity guests. The Boy in the Dress – David Walliams’ children’s comedy. Esio Trot – an adaption of Roald Dahl’s classic novel. Miranda – in the episodes Miranda receives two proposals. The Wrong Mans – the BBC Two comedy makes its Christmas debut. The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawn – Harry Hill stars in the family drama. #RickMayall: Lord of Misrule – a tribute to the late comedian. Attenborough’s Paradise Birds – David Attenborough presents a one-off nature programme. Songs of Praise: Christmas Big Sing – this year’s episode comes from the Royal Albert Hall. Eastenders – the traditional festive special from Albert Square.
