BCS IT Personality Award 2013 BCS - IT PERSONALITY AWARD, 2013 Edition As you may be aware, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, is the leading professional body for those working in Information Technology (IT). It has over 75,000 members in more than 100 countries and is the qualifying body for Chartered IT Professionals (CITP). The Institute is also actively present in Mauritius, through its local Section & Regional Office, to promote the study and practice of computing and advance knowledge of education in IT for the benefit of all stakeholders. Motivated and encouraged by the resounding success our previous IT Personality of the Year Awards, the Management Committee has launched the seventh edition of this prestigious competition designed to recognize outstanding achievements in IT in Mauritius during year 2012-2013. We are planning to remit the awards to the Winner during a Gala Night to be held on the 5th October 2013. We plan to recognize the outstanding achievers by rewarding them with the following: Personality of the Year Certificate An Crystal engraved BCS Shield, value MUR 25,000 We are also awarding the Young IT Specialist Award (for individuals below 30 years of age). This Gala night will also be marked by the presence of Eminent people from the BCS, senior members of the Government, top Executives of private, parastatal and public organisations and the media.
