BDP MEMBERS JOIN UDC IN GANTSI More than 30 BDP members were welcomed to #UDC over the weekend in Gantsi. The number includes West/East Hanahai councillor, Masweu Kaekane. When welcoming the new members, the leader of UDC, Duma Boko said, by defecting to UDC, it is clear that people have lost hope in the BDP government and are ready for change. Boko said Batswana want to be taken seriously and no longer want to be given food rations and work through Ipelegeng. He said according to some people what the government offers to them is a clear arrogance and belittling them. Boko said while the BDP government allows child labour on farms the BCP would ensure that professionals such as engineers, teachers, nurses and others get dignified jobs.
