BE A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST In 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Bible tells us that whatever we are seeking the face of God for, for that thing to come to pass, we have a role to play. It is not all up to Jesus; certainly, it is not all up to us. In Mark 10:52, Blind Bartimaeus, after receiving his sight, maintained his miracle by following Jesus on the way. Christ will not consider your request until He sees in you a faithful follower, a willing servant, a man of great perception, which are essential characteristics of a true disciple. Are you a full-time follower or a part-time follower? The answer to that question determines the answer to our prayer. Prayer: “Holy Spirit, strengthen me to be a follower of Christ day by day and hour by hour”. It is not enough to come to Christ for help and spiritual healing, when we are healed, we must follow Him, honor Him and receive His instruction!
