BE YE SPIRITUAL MINDED IN ORDER TO LIVE VICTORIOUS AND TRIUMPHANT LIFE THAT HAS BEEN BEQUEATHED AND INHERITED IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Rom:8:5-8:For those who are according to the flesh {and} are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on {and} pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit {and} are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on {and} seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to Gods Law; indeed it cannot. So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please {or} satisfy God, {or} be acceptable to Him. WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT, THERE IS NO WAY IN A CARNAL MIND TO BE COGNISANCE AND ACQUAINTED TO ALL WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US FREELY. 1Cor:2:9-12: But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled {and} revealed them by {and} through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring {and} examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond mans scrutiny]. For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a mans thoughts except the mans own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize {and} comprehend {and} appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God. AS A TRUE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, WE ONLY SPEAK THE THINGS THAT IS TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT AND NOT BY THE CARNAL MIND. THE NATURAL MAN ARE CARNALLY MINDED AND THEY CANT DISCERN THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT, BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERN And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining {and} interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit]. But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept {or} welcome {or} admit into his heart the gifts {and} teachings {and} revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned {and} estimated {and} appreciated. WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT, THERE IS NO ONE THAT CAN CONFESS JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR. 1Cor:12:3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power {and} influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever] say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by {and} under the power {and} influence of the Holy Spirit. EVERY SPIRITUAL GIFTS WILL ONLY BE PRESERVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND NOT IN SELF EFFORTS. 2Cor:1:14 Guard {and} keep [with the greatest care] the precious {and} excellently adapted [Truth] which has been entrusted [to you], by the [help of the] Holy Spirit Who makes His home in us. HAVING HOPE IN THE LORD IS ONLY THROUGH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. ROM:15:13 May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound {and} be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. EVERY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN ALWAYS WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE PERFECT LOVE OF GOD. WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT, THERE IS NO WAY TO BENEFITS IN THE PERFECT LOVE OF GOD. Rom:5:5 Such hope never disappoints {or} deludes {or} shames us, for Gods love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. MAN SHALL NOT PREVAIL IN THEIR PHYSICAL STRENGTH, BUT OUR STRENGTH IS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD DWELLING INSIDE OF US. Rom:3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability {and} sufficiency are from God.3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His {very own} image in ever increasing splendor {and} from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. Zechariah:4:6-7:Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere molehill]! And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone [of the new temple] with loud shoutings of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it! WITHOUT THE LEADING AND GUIDANCE OF THE SPIRIT, THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT WILL NEVER BE A REALITY IN OUR LIVES. Gal:5:22-25: But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites {and} desires. If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] Let us not become vainglorious {and} self-conceited, competitive {and} challenging {and} provoking {and} irritating to one another, envying {and} being jealous of one another. IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT OPEN OUR HEART TO RECEIVE THE WORD OF GOD. Eph:1:17-18: [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know {and} understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones) BEING SPIRITUALLY MINDED IS HOW WE CAN ALWAYS BEING REMINDED OF ALL WHAT THE WORD OF GOD HAS SAID WHOM WE ARE IN CHRIST. JOHN:16:13-14: But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce {and} declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honor {and} glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR HELPER, WITHOUT HIM IN OUR LIVES, WE CANT LIVE THE TRIUMPHANT AND VICTORIOUS LIVE WE HAD IN CHRIST. John:14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. THE GREATER WORKS WE ARE PROMISED BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WILL ONLY BE ACHIEVABLE THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Acts:1:8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. 10:38 How God anointed {and} consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength {and} ability {and} power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed {and} oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him. EVERY GIFTS ARE GIVEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES CAN MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT. 1Cor:12:8-10: To one is given in {and} through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a word of knowledge {and} understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit;To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit; To another the working of miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose); to another the ability to discern {and} distinguish between [the utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues. All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired {and} brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses. ALL THESE GIFTS WILL BE ACTIVES THROUGH THE GRACE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. THROUGH SPEAKING IN TONGUES, SPEAKING IN AN AGELIC LANGUAGE, IS HOW WE CAN FAN ALL THESE GIFTS TO FRUITION. 2Tim:1:6 That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. PRAYING IN HOLY GHOST IS HOW WE BUILD UPON OUR HOLY FAITH. JUDE:1:20-21; But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Guard {and} keep yourselves in the love of God; expect {and} patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--[which will bring you] unto life eternal. EVERYONE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST WANT THEIR PRAYER TO BE ALIGNED TO THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD. ITS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT HELP US TO PRAY EFFECTIVELY IN THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD. ROM:8:26-27: So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid {and} bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer {nor} how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication {and} pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings {and} groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes {and} pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to {and} in harmony with Gods will. THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AVAILABLE TO EVERY ONE THAT ASK FROM THE FATHER. Luke:11:9-13: So I say to you, Ask {and} keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek {and} keep on seeking and you shall find; knock {and} keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks {and} keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks {and} keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks {and} keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for {a loaf of bread, will give him a stone; or if he asks for} a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask {and} continue to ask Him! James:1:5-6: If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally {and} ungrudgingly, without reproaching {or} faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither {and} thither and tossed by the wind. 1:17Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]. A=ask S=seek K=knock. IT WILL PRODUCE MANIFESTATION. 11:22 -24:And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
