BEACHFEST 2013 - PHOTOS POSTED - What a great day/night. Went to BEACHFEST 2013 (Round Lake Beach). The headliner band was ARRA. The band before was better - Santana type band. They nailed "Josie" by Steely Dan, played a variety of music, but when they played Santana - WOW. 2 percussionist + Drummer, 2 keyboards. Afterwards up to Antioch to the bars. There is an afterhours bar open until 3AM - Illinois has "gaming" (slots) in the bars now. Where do you go at 3AM, Why you go to Richards Open until 4AM. Beer, Pop, Ribs, etc. place was packed. If a fight would of started between the Sister girls and all of us guys - I swear those women would of mopped up a lot of dudes. The women were Amazons in there. Most of us guys are skinny to regular. Too much booty for this kid - I was hungry and had an Italian Beef. Two gals were getting into it in the parking lot. They do have security Guards at all these places, but those women are too big to mess with. seriously. Beachfest was great - all week-end long - bands, food, beer, rides, etc. Milwaukee has Summerfest going on, but this is a lot closer, free to get in, and the bands I heard today were just as good. ARRA was good except drummer, learn the fills on those tunes, dude. The band playing Santana - WOW.
