BECAUSE Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center has not kept their promise to implement the No Kill Equation; programs and policies to save lives, many people are surrendering their dogs to private kennels in the area. They figure they are better there, than dead. These private boarding facilities are not shelters and do not hold adoption events nor do they network these forgotten animals. They simply exist. Some have been locked up for years,1-over 3 years to be exact. Mojo, abandoned by his previous owners needs a home of his own. He has been in boarding since March. IF anyone who has no cats, and SMALL dogs or NO dogs wants a great dog, Mojo is the man! From todays outing: Had a great day with Mojo! He was very curious in Petco and fascinated! Good boy, Mojo. He sat for treats from the cashier and let everyone in there pet him. One older man asked, is that a Pitbull? Said, Sure is! He bent over and gave him a loving pat on the head--Apparently hed never pet a Pittie!!! See his pics below-He wants to cuddle up on your lap!
