BEEF, BELLS & BOTTLETREE FESTIVAL. I will be the special guest at this years festival spending five days in a small Queensland community - about 1500 people and, they say, Ill know all of them by the time I fly out. Miles is about 385 kms (as the crow flies) west of Brisbane, As they say, miles from nowhere. I told them to keep me busy and they have - heres what I will be doing. Fly in Thursday 11th September Afternoon at the performing at the Miles High School Friday – visit to local schools (primary) and Carinya (aged care facility) Friday Night – Host and guest performance at the Bushwackers Trivia Night at the Golf Club Saturday – Compere the Street Parade Sat Arvo – Talk and performance at the Historical Village Sat Night –Party night where I join local group the Memphis Movers. Sunday morning at Dogwood Crossing – the Gallery for the 12th birthday celebrations and live chat with Macca then a concert based on the Walls depicting early cattle industry. All in all a great way to meet the real Australia, beefbellsandbottletreefestival/
