BEFORE SCHOOL CARE NEEDED Sadly, it is time for my au pair to move on to new adventures. I teach at a local girls school full time and am looking for a solution for childcare before school. Ideally, you would come to my home at 7:30am, make lunchboxes and get the children to school at 8:30am. Alternatively, if you live very close by, the children could walk to your house in the morning. My older three children have been happily walking to Havelock Primary and Havelock High School on their own for some time, up until their sister turned five and started at Havelock Primary. Since then, my au pair has been taking the three younger children to school. I need care mainly on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings as the other mornings they are at their dad’s house. With the exception of 1-2 weeks at the end of the term and/or 1-2 weeks after the school holidays, when their father is away for work. During this time, I also need care on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. The ruggies: • 13 year old boy, year 9 at Havelock High School. • 10 year old boy, year 6 at Havelock Primary School. • 7 year old boy, year 2 at Havelock Primary School. • 5 year old girl, new entrant at Havelock Primary School. I am also seeking AFTER SCHOOL CARE for my children with housework, washing and dinner preparation as part of this role, generally from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (discussion and negotiation regarding the duties and hours). This may be the same person who looks after them in the mornings or somebody else. I am open to ideas and suggestions to find the solution which will enable me to juggle my work, my children and my home! Please get in touch if you may be interested or know of someone who would be.
