BEG, BORROW, STEAL By: - Samson David McGowan samsonmacgowan@yahoo AN INTRODUCTION: - THIS IS A REALITY AND NOT JUST IMAGINARY OR FICTION THAT RUNS THROUGH ANYONE’S HEAD.I HAVE NOTICED THE RICH TEND TO ROB THE POOR BECAUSE OF THEIR IN DISPENSARIES AND THE ATROCITIES BESTOWED AMONG THEM IS VERY HUMILIATING.NO WONDER AFTER THE POOR THEY END WITH COMPLICATION OF A VARIETY OF DISEASES.THE TITLE ITSELF ISN’T MERELY BASED ON THE INFLICTED ONES BUT IS A HARD HITTER TO ALL COMING IN THE GRASP OF WORLDLY PLEASURES RATHER THAN LEADING A HUMBLE AND PIOUS LIFE. This is a very old saying While some folks for a meal are sadly praying Beg, borrow or steal There are millions of people who go to sleep without a meal The rich tend to slam the door upon the poor There are no human feelings in people anymore And tell the poor don’t come here anymore Yet the rich squeeze the poor With out them nothing can be done Sweating it out in the midday hot sun I keep pondering why do people beg, borrow or steal It’s so difficult to cope up and giving them a healthy meal Once a child was beaten for something he hadn’t done or eaten It was held in his hands just a slice of bread In his prayers he said “give us this day our daily bread’ But in this land of corrupt and forsake people The boy landed up in jail with uncouth hardcore people The rich tread upon the poor and indeed tell lies Throw it upon others who believe in God who do follow Him for thousands of miles Now a days people put up cameras every where And from their cozy office put innocent people to shame anytime any where They borrow information from here and there The innocent is ashamed in front of the poor even there When GOD is there no cameras are needed anywhere The rich do steal a lot from us and still make a lot of fuss. If you ask Oh why do you beg or borrow? Whose there to ask or see to hues, cries or sorrow The poor can be any body but in the light of GOD There’s a lot to check out of sort The immense and wealthy lot still got to learn hell of a lot. They do indeed BEG, BORROW AND STEAL knowledge from others From my so called humiliated sisters and brothers. Yet they say “India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters Some go to sleep with no food and have no shoes on their feet For these are my brothers and sisters Suffering in war with fatal wounds and blisters Then “Why are they being inflicted with cruelty, shame and burning internal wounds with blisters”.
