BELIEVE IT OR NOT...! >>> The Lord allows the devil to afflict our bodies for a PURPOSE. One of the main reasons is to build up our faith when we are healed…However there are other reasons, too. Pain, suffering, and sickness can be very “good things” in the lives of Christians—(even though it is sent to us from our enemy—not God…Remember that!!) Brief bouts of sickness can teach us humility, compassion for others, as well as teaching us to search our hearts for sins, bitterness, and “faults”—just like the Bible instructs us. “Confess your faults one to another and pray for one another THAT YOU MIGHT BE HEALED.“ James 5:17 Sadly, most Christians don’t seem to know that verse is in the Bible—and consequently they are seldom healed. They don’t repent and “Confess their faults” and so they stay sick, utterly convinced that it is “God’s Will” for them to remain sick—while they go running from doctor to doctor. (Why are they trying so hard to be cured by doctors, if it is God’s will for them to REMAIN SICK??? Hello?) This type of thinking is not at all biblical. The very purpose of pain and sickness is to bring us to a higher dimension. It is to get our attention. The Lord is saying: “SEARCH YOUR HEART. Get rid of anything that is hindering your healing….then I will HEAL YOU.” (Believe me, there are things in EACH of our hearts that need to be repented of. Offenses come to us daily—that’s what Jesus said. Repent…! Confess…! Forgive…! It will do you good, and when you do it right, you will be healed. That’s what the Bible says. “Confess your faults…and you will be Healed.” Do you believe it?) The Lord does not want us to remain sick for long. It is simply not His will in most cases! 99.99% of the time it is His Will to HEAL us. It is very seldom His Will to KILL us! You have to agree, folks…..Jesus did not endure agony on Calvary just so that you can go through life in agony Yourself. “By His stripes we are HEALED.” Take the Lord at His Word, and be healed today!
