BEWARE OF SERPENTS! The false Church and false Prophets of this “crooked and perverse” (Deu 32:5; Php 2:15) “generation of vipers” (Mat 12:34; Mat 23:33; Luk 3:7) have perverted the true faith/worship that should be for God’s own purpose into a false faith/worship that is for their own purpose! They divert attention with flmsy contentions about old Traditions and new Trends, about authoritative Teachings and spontaneous Tendencies instead of focusing on and seeking the authentic/eternal Truth in the Scriptures. PRAYER is meant for appealing to God for what we need to help us please God alone (1Ti 2:1-2; 2Pe 1:2-4). WORSHIP is meant for rendering to God all we are and all we have received in a way that is worthy of and pleasing to Him. 1 Chronicles 16:28-29 (28) Give unto the LORD, you families of the peoples, give unto the LORD glory and strength. (29) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Good morning.
