Proper warm up and stretching of all the muscles especially lower limb and trunk. 2. carbohydrate loading to start atleast a day before, good hydration and carbohydrates before, during and after the event. 3. As stair climbing may not be day to day practise for many individuals so let the stair climbing be the part of their workout from now onwards which makes it more specific to the event and prevents DOMS. 4. Proper foot wear is also essential which ll reduce stress on the lower limb and back. 5. Orthotic supports may require to the individual who have little foot abnormality like flat foot, high arch and low arch. 6. Cool down at the end of the even followed by static stretches. 7. Imp note. Pre event assessment is very important for an individual with moderate or severe risk as the event places lot of stress on cardiovascular system. So to check vitals before beggining for risky individuals and also monitor in between.
