BHF Professor Hugh Watkins has spent the last 24 years working on research into hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, that will help uncover inherited heart conditions and ultimately save lives. And on 19 July he and his team from the Oxford Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) are taking their fight further by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
