BILLY JOEL sings Honesty is such a lonely word, everyone is so untrue. Agree or disagree? I somewhat agree but with much soul-searching and reflections. No one among us is a hundred percent honest person and sometimes we cannot even be true to ourself for we sometimes feign to be what we are not. If someone accidentally bumps us and it hurts badly and the guy says sorry, we are likely to force a smile and retort its okay even if we dont mean it, for civility sake. Fact is thats the way we should react because in one way or another we can stumble into hurting others without intending to. In the last analysis though, taking good control of your emotions is not necessarily dishonesty. What do you think?
