BIN Gets Tough On Alien Motorcyclist -Set To Begin Registration By: MOHAMMED A. KROMAH With the increased in foreign nationals riding motorbikes and driving cars in Liberia and calls made earlier by some concern Liberians, the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization has announced that it will shortly begin the registration of aliens that are riding motorcycle and driving cars within the country. According to the Bureau’s Director Col. Amblar William, aliens that are plying the streets of Liberia with “pen-pen” and cars will be register so that the amount of aliens that are involve with the business can be known. The Immigration boss revealed that they currently don’t have a radio system and usually used mobile phone which she said is a security risk. Commenting on the bureau headquarter, madam William disclosed that the bureau have acquired about ten acres of land in Bensonville which she noted will be constructed to host the Bureau of Immigration. The immigration boss speaking on a local radio recently said that housing facilities have been constructed along the border to host some of the officers assigned at the border. Madam William said that the BIN is facing constrain with the procuring of uniforms for officers of the bureau as allocation made in the budget when passed will enable the bureau to purchased two sets of uniforms for each officers. It appears that this recent pronouncement made by the Bureau of Immigration have answer the call of many Liberians who have been yearning for aliens riding motorbikes and driving cars to be register.
