BJP PLANNING ELECTION RALLY IN DOWNTOWN In a bid to mark its presence in the old City, the Bharitya Janta Party is planning to organize an election rally in the old town Srinagar. “We are planning to organize a rally in the old town. The motive of rally will be to highlight the policies and programs of BJP which signifies welfare of common masses and uniform development of all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir state,” one of the top leaders of BJP wished anonymity told KNS. Meanwhile talking to KNS BJP’s National general secretary Ram Madav appealed the people to come forward and strengthen the hands of BJP. “Jammu and Kashmir is on top priority of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wants to develop the state and want to give employment to the youth. I appeal the youth to come forward and join the hands of Prime minister,” he said. He further said that the BJP is aware about the problems of the Kashmiri youth and they should vote in favor of the party so that there issues will be solved. “The majority of the Kashmir youth are joining the Bhartiya Janta Party and I am sure that the youth will vote in favour of BJP,” he said. Meanwhile sources said that the BJP has deputed a number of observers to Kashmir to gauge the public mood ahead of crucial Assembly elections starting from November 25. “Pushing for their own majority in Jammu & Kashmir, top BJP functionaries are meeting a cross-section of people including retired bureaucrats, youths, and regional political parties’ members, to strengthen the party’s base in the Valley. It is to mention here that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the BJP’s campaign and is likely to address around eight election rallies across Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh beginning from November 10
