BJP was born in 1980 (the same year when I was sent down on earth by God/Devil for Goans to tolerate) out of ashes of Janata Party, when it suffered a pre determined and premature death over the question of former Jansangh members retaining the duel membership (just like dual citizenship) of RSS as well as Janata Party. As soon as the abnormal infant called Janata Party breathed its last, Indira Congress came back with a sweeping majority, and young BJP could manage to win just two seats out of which one won by Atalji using his personal charisma. BJP was a brain and blood child of RSS which was truthfully loyal towards taking forward the cause of RSSs Hindu Nationalism (which in reality was a very beautiful, non communal, equality based and progressive nation building idea in THEORY) through a political channel. Blood and oxygen supply to BJP came from RSS in form of ideological inculcation, dedicated die hard nationalist (not communalist which some half literate educated idiots believe) cadre and mission and motivation, of which RSS had plenty. On the foundation of ideology with the virtues of dedication held by its cadre towards the mission, leadership of Atalji, and backbone of honesty (the then BJP would have defeated todays AAP in competition for honesty measurement by many times margin), the political party called BJP grew leaps and bounds just like AAP is growing right now. The political immaturity of Rajiv, his bowing to Muslim fundamentalism in cases of Shah Bano (she lived quite close to our house in Indore and me and mummy have seen her many times), Salman Rushdie and Kashmir insurgency were the fertilizers responsible for BJPs growth, while the Ram Janmabhoomi issue was a bumper harvest miracle for it. That period was of political turmoil, VP Singh and his Mandal ghost added fire to the fuel (many youths burnt themselves alive in that) and bullets in the corpses of Karsevaks in Ayodhya in 1990 by Mulayam Singhs PAC (viciously created by offering compensatory government jobs to the first kin of the muslim victims of earlier Hindu Muslim riots to give them an opportunity as well as means of extracting revenge from Hindus) further polarized the atmosphere, completed by mass massacre, rape and expulsion of Kashmiri Pundits from Kashmir Valley by JKLF and Hizbul Mujahideen. All these events diminished congress in public view and put BJP in prominence, and had Rajiv Gandhi not been killed in 1991 in a bomb blast by LTTE for his sins in Srilanka, the end of congress was sure. After five years of P V Narsimharaos tenure marred with unimaginable corruption, BJP reached the parliament as the single largest party in 1996 on its own, with Hindutva agenda and Nationalist mindset well publicized, intact and still owned. That was the highest point in the entire career of BJP on its own and with its own agenda, and it soon understood that without the support of other parties, its march to power will always remain an unfulfilled dream. Now, the question facing the party was a question of life and death. Sacrifice power for the sake of ideology or sacrifice ideology for the sake of power. Like always, even this crucial decision was made not by the party with a difference, but by the top leadership of RSS (K S Sudarshan was the Sarsanghachalak then). They decided a cunning strategy, for which they are (in)famous all over the sociopolitical circles. Continue a show off of ideology to fool the public and its own cadre while exploiting their hard work for political cause, and do whatever is possible as well as impossible to enjoy fruits of power minus responsibility through back door politics via BJP. Throwing out of K N Govindacharya and dhoti kurta culture and elevation of corrupt to the core DraculaS like Pramod Mahajan during the NDA rule was an indicator of what was BJP heading towards. Backstabbing its own cadre, deceiving its own political workers, disowning its own ideology, cheating its first generation leaders, today, BJP is a Congress minus Gandhi family. Those who were shouting Saugandh Ram ki khate hai Mandir wahi banayange then are today teaching the public Pehle shauchalay fir devalay. Those who could lecture others over the superiority of Indian culture over western culture for hours together are today busy finding daily new excuses for defending the presence of floating casinos in a BJP ruled state. Those who talked of swadeshi, rural empowerment, end of money business in politics are enjoying animalic intercourse with Ambanis and Adanis. Those who talked with a big mouth about banning cow slaughter are mum over hundreds of healthy cattle being certified as crippled by the government veterinarians at Madgao meat complex for illegal slaughter (legal on documents) to keep Muslim and Catholic voters happy. Those who used to talk big about Israel, fight against terror, removing Pakistan from the face of earth etc. went all the way to Kandahar to see off the released terrorists, namely Maulana Masood Azhar (who immediately after release planned attack on Indian Parliament), Shaikh Omar Saeed (Who set a new trend all over the world by murdering American Journalist Daniel Pearl on camera and putting the video over internet after WTC attacks) and Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar (who had murdered many Indian Army officials till he was arrested in an encounter). Those who once pledged their lives for a reunified reunited India and reverse the partition of Nation went to Jinnas grave and issued a certificate of patriotism to him via home delivery. Which fool says they are communal? They are not at all communal. They are opportunistic to the core politicians. They are as hypocrites as a pujari can be who spends his entire day in the house of God only to enter the house of a temple dancer in the dark of night. In other words, they are ideal politicians.
