Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2007: Before Amanda Knox was arrested and convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher in Italy, she offered up Patrick Lumumba, a black bar owner for whom she worked, as the murderer. He was arrested and spent two weeks in prison. He was released after the claim proved to be false, however, he had to close his bar and lay off all the staff. He later sued the police for damages for false imprisonment and won. He’s now suing Knox for defamation. Ashley Todd blamed a black man Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson Ashley Todd, a volunteer for the McCain/Palin campaign, told investigators she was getting cash from an ATM when a 6-foot-4 black man approached her from behind, put a knife blade to her throat and demanded money. On a roll, she continued with . . .the man noticed a McCain sticker on her car punched her in the back of the head, knocked her to the ground and scratched a backward letter “B” into her face with a dull knife and then the man told her she was going to become an Obama supporter. She went on TV and received a lot of media attention. She would later admit to rolling her car into a lake, with her children in it. Why? So she could start her life over by marrying a wealthy man without having the burden of her old family. Charles Stuart blamed a black man! Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1989: Charles Stuart was a Boston man who shot his pregnant wife in the head and then shot himself in the abdomen. Stuart told the police that a Black man was responsible for the shootings, sparking a police round-up of hundreds of Black men for questioning. Stuart even picked a man out of a lineup. Stuart’s story unraveled and he committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. Motive: Greed – life insurance. Joran Van der Sloot blamed two black security guards! Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2005: Natalee Holloway was a student who disappeared while on a class trip to Aruba. Before suspicion fell on Joran Van der Sloot (pictured) and the two Kalpoe borthers, the Aruban police detained Nick John and Abraham Jones, two black security guards who worked at the hotel where Holloway was staying. No one has ever been convicted nor her remains ever recovered. Van der Sloot in currently in prison for another murder. Timothy McVeigh: The media blamed the Nation of Islam Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1995: The Oklahoma City Bombing that claimed 168 lives and injured more than 680 people was first blamed on “the Nation of Islam.” Both NBC’s anchor Tom Brokaw and ABC’s Peter Jennings broadcast this false story to the world, endangering the lives of Blacks and Muslims all over the nation. The actual terrorists were white men, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, from middle America with U.S. military backgrounds. Brian Wells blamed a group of Black men Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2003: A pizza deliveryman Brian Wells walked into a bank in Erie, Pa. with a bomb locked around his neck. He told police that a group of Black men had taken him hostage and put the bomb there. After receiving close to $9,000, the pizza man was blown to bits by the bomb. Police would later find out that Wells was in on the plot with a few of his white buddies. Central Park Jogger- A New York “trial” blamed 5 black/latino teens Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1989: Central Park Jogger- A New York “trial” in which five Black and Latino teens (Pictured) were convicted of assaulting and raping a white woman, introducing the term “wilding” into the racist Caucasian lexicon. A serial rapist (not black) admitted his guilt in the crime, which was confirmed by DNA testing. He also stated that he had never met the five victims of white “justice.” George Zimmerman blamed the victim, a black teen Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2012: George Zimmerman, a White & Latino neighborhood watch coordinator saw Trayvon Martin in his gated community and considered him to be up to no good. Zimmerman called in to the police station and was told to stand down. Zimmerman disobeyed orders and confronted Trayvon, an unarmed 17-year-old African American. Trayvon was killed. Zimmerman blamed the victim, stating that Trayvon attacked him and he was only defending himself. The trial begins in a few weeks. Bonnie Sweeten blamed two black men Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2009: Bonnie Sweeten of Feasterville, PA called 911 and reported that she and her 9-year-old daughter had been carjacked and were being held in the trunk of her car by two black men. A massive man-hunt was immediately ordered. After Sweeten made several more 911 calls, her story began to fall apart. A camera at Philadelphia International Airport caught her buying two one-way tickets to Orlando, Florida to go to Disney World. She is currently in prison. Jesse Anderson blamed two black men Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1992: Jesse Anderson (Pictured top with wife) told the police that while leaving a suburban Milwaukee restaurant he and his wife were attacked by two Black men. She later died from the wounds. After a five-day search for the fictional Black criminals, Anderson was arrested and charged with his wife’s murder. Greed was his motive . . . a $250,000 insurance policy. He was killed in prison two years later on the same day as Jeffrey Dahmer by Christopher Scarver who said God told him to do it. Robert Harris blamed a black man Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1996: Robert Harris (No photo available) claimed that he and his fiancée, Teresa McLeod, had been shot and robbed on a quiet Baltimore, Maryland, street by an armed black man wearing a camouflage jacket and black and white pants. Harris was shot once and McLeod was shot several times. Teresa died at the scene. Within two days of the murder, Harris confessed to his involvement. Motive: Greed. Harris thought that he was the beneficiary of McLeod’s $250,000 life insurance policy. Charles Manson blamed murders on blacks in hopes to start a race war Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 1969: Convicted mass murderer Charles Manson and ‘The Family’ went on a killing spree hoping to incite a race war that he dubbed ‘Helter Skelter.’ During this period, eleven people were murdered by the Manson Family. Bethany Storro blamed a black woman Jun 6, 2013 By Ramona Stephenson 2010: Bethany Storro claimed she was approached by a black female in her late twenties as she walked into a Starbucks and that the black female hurled the acid in her face after saying ‘Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?’ The story had too many holes to hold up under police questioning. She finally caved and admitted she actually did it to herself.
