BLOOD MOON!!! Early this morning was the 2nd of a tetrad of lunar eclipses & North America (along with East Asia, the Pacific and Australia) had the best views! I was up a bit past 3AM CT to see the first bit of the moon begin to move into the lightest part of Earths shadow (penumbra). Things got REALLY good from about 3:45AM to 5:25AM when the darker part of the shadow began to creep across the moons disk (umbra) - through the eclipses total phase. The 3rd will occur on April 4th!! :) :) here are a few photos of it people shared!
