BOSTON, live tonight in Mountain View. This concert is like the Summer Solstice. Its the pinnacle that Ive been waiting for all year. After today, the days will only get shorter, lol. Theres something magical about this band. Their songs are always uplifting, both with their beautifully penned lyrics and ethereal, ascending melodies. Their current lineup is one of their best - really solid group of musicians that all contribute to the thick harmonies on each song. This will be the first time seeing them play at Shoreline since the first time I saw them 11 years ago. Theyre out promoting their new album, LIFE, LOVE & HOPE, but surprisingly will only feature 2 songs from their latest studio effort. The setlist this year is relatively pedestrian with no big surprises. However, they added a super cool video projection that features real life explosions and rockets flying through space all while synchronized to the music. It really brings each song to life. This year, BOSTON is the headliner to Shorelines annual BONEBASH concert series. As such, there have been a slew of flyers and posters pushing it. I saw this commercial and had to record it. It easily made my day and gave me chills of giddiness watching this rockin promo. Enjoy!
