BRAG POST (not looking for advice) ;) So yesterday I started working on Stormy with potty training. For those of you who do not know, Stormy has Kidney Disease and newborn sized kidneys and they told us that it would be very hard if not impossible for her to potty train because of the concentration of her urine and her not having the urge to go, etc etc. Well she has been going #2 on the potty frequently. The day before yesterday she told me she had to go and she PEED. Amazing, fantastic, yet another miracle. So yesterday I said the hell with it!! I put her in panties and she had 2 accidents all day! However, she pees every 20-25 minutes and right now she is only going with prompting, but i can clearly tell she KNOWS that she is peeing and this is HUGE for us! At the end of the day she started to get discouraged and tired (around 6:30 PM) so I put a pull up on her and let her relax (yeah I know with normal kids this isnt good, but shes not normal in this respect). Heres to hoping day 2 is just as great! Planning to put a pull up on her when we go out to eat with my parents tonight and seeing how she does!
