BRAZIL vs. COLOMBIA // Away Win Who has been the better team so far? Definitely Colombia and I would recommend a bet on Colombia to win this match in all countries but Brazil. Brazil were in all kinds of trouble against Chile, but they won the match after penalties and that is what I am driving at, a team like Brazil almost always win their home fixtures. I have backed Colombia to win the cup and I will back them also in this game, but I am just sending out this warning - opposing the home team, one usually ends up on the losing end. With both Fred and Jo, the Brazilian front men, looking pretty useless I have almost given up on the Brazil offence. OK, Hulk played an improved game against Chile, but can you win matches in the long run without functioning front men? And Oscar? Mourinho would have withdrawn him after twenty minutes against Chile and too many Brazilian players have underperformed, this far, that is. Luis Gustavo will be suspended for this game, but he can be replaced. The Brazilian problems are at the other end of the pitch. Neymar will play, no doubt about that. Fernandinho is favourite to replace L Gustavo. Jackson was preferred again to Ibarbo upfront for Colombia vs Uruguay, but it was the Monaco ace James Rodriguez who once again played an outstanding game scoring both their goals. Cuadrado is also playing at a very high level and defensively Colombia have so far been solid, although Yepes does not belong to my favourite defenders. My Tip is GERMANY to Win at (2.70) and COLOMBIA to Win at (4.30) combined together with good value of (11.61) at elitebetkenya
