BREAKING: Israeli soldier feared captured by Hamas, Hadar Goldin, killed in action, Israeli military says - RTV. The family has received official notification of death from the Israeli Defense Force; special board decided to declare the tragedy based on medical, halachic considerations and evidence in Gaza. After examining forensic evidence from the scene of Fridays attack in Rafah, a special panel concluded that the Israeli officer was killed in action. Israel had accused Hamas of abducting Goldin together with his colleagues sparking accusations of breach of a 3 day truce agreed upon. This led to Israel viciously pounding Rafah resulting in significant civilian casualties. Critics accuse the Israeli government of concocting a lie in order to justify breaking the truce and killing more civilians in Gaza.
