BREAKING NEWS! A new bill to require the labeling of genetically engineered foods has been introduced into the NH Senate! Senate Bill 411 was recently introduced into the NH Senate. It is very similar to the amended version of HB660 that was defeated in the House on January 22. gencourt.state.nh.us/legislation/2014/SB0411.html Sponsors of SB411 are: * Senator Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth); Senate District 21 (Durham, Lee, Madbury, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, and Portsmouth) * Senator David Watters (D-Dover); Senate District 4 (Barrington, Dover, Rollinsford and Somersworth) * Representative Peter Bixby (D-Dover); Strafford District 17 * Representative David Murotake, (R-Nashua); Hillsborough District 32 * Representative Donald LeBrun (R-Nashua); Hillsborough District 32 Senate Bill 411 was introduced into the NH Senate on January 8.
