BREAKING: Obama Busted for a Major Lie About the “Islamic State” August 13, 2014 As President Barack Obama sought to disengage from the Middle East, the world watched in horror at the chaos and death that rushed into the gap left by the retreating Americans. Although he claims otherwise, Obama is fully responsible for the American pullout from Iraq in 2010 and the subsequent rise of ISIS there and in Syria. His rewriting of the history of American involvement in the Middle East comes as no surprise to Americans, who already believe that both he and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lied about events in Benghazi, Libya. In fact, Americans are increasing convinced that the word of the president and his administration is not to be trusted. Now word comes of additional misrepresentation from President Obama, who has claimed that American intelligence assets never foresaw the coming of the Islamic State–and with it, the brutal deaths of thousands. According to WND, however, the Obama administration “had warnings of the rapid rise of Islamic State, formerly known as ISIS,” as early as 2010. Similar warnings were repeated in early 2014. The report describes a document obtained by American intelligence that “laid out the very strategy and tactics the jihadist group is using today.” As a result, the brutal terrorists now boast an army of 10,000, with more joining every day. As recently as last year, Defense Intelligence Agency Director Michael Flynn warned Congress of the growing threat, which the Obama administration completely ignored, at least until children were beheaded. The Obama administration itself was directly warned about the Islamic State, the report claims based on statements from former intelligence officials, but was “reluctant to become involved once again in Syria and then in Iraq after the withdrawal of U.S. troops.” As well they should be. No reasonable American wants a president whose first response to any bad news is to deploy American military assets. But that’s a far cry from never deploying military assets, sitting back while innocent women and children are enslaved and brutally murdered, and subsequently lying to the American people about it. If Bush had acted the same way, the mainstream media would be beside themselves. As it is, we’re still waiting to see the first, “Obama lied, thousands died” bumper stickers.
