National Assembly Complex, ABUJA. RESIGNATION OF MEMBERSHIP OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) In appreciation of the yearnings and aspiration of my people of Bida Gbako and KATCHA Federal Constituency, I embarked on the journey of representing and their interest. I did that firstly by joining the PDP as registered member and secondly by representing them as a member of the distinguished house, having been elected in 2011. However, recent events back home ,culminating in the unjust,unfair and insincere nomination exercise that threw up certain individuals, so called nominated ticket bearers for the forth coming general election, under the PDP, my people felt short -changed,maltreated and humiliated and have called on me to resign from the PDP and move to a more just, equitable and democratic association with their yearning and aspiration... Consequently, and in view of the fact that my interest come after that of my people, I wish to announce my resignation of membership of the PDP effective today 13th January, 2015 and my moving to the All Progressive Congress APC in further exercise of my constitutional Rights of Choice and Freedom Of Association.
