BRIDGES of MADISON COUNTY. I quite literally took my life in my hands by walking out onto a newer 2-lane bridge to take this shot, with huge trucks flying by from both directions. Had I stepped back two feet, their side mirrors would have knocked me off the bridge! It was scary, but Ive been waiting for calm water and this reflection for years! And it was worth it. When I was a kid, we used to fish and swim beneath this old bridge.
