BROADCAST: STRIKE CALLED FOR MAY 21, ALL ASSESSMENTS TO BE MOVED, NO PENALTY FOR MISSING CLASS The Students’ Association is calling on students to stand with staff during this difficult period. You might miss one day, but in the long run, students are better off - after all, staff teaching conditions are student learning conditions. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor has agreed that no student will be penalised for not attending class, all assessments are to be rescheduled and assignments due on May 21 will receive an automatic 1-day extension, so take the day off, and relax. Staff and students will be picketing the entrances to UTS from 7am if you wish to join the strike.
