BRUTALITY, RAPE, MUTLILATION & MURDER OF BONDED LABORERS IN INDIA, the country I loved. Most of the men have been badly beaten. There are women who have been raped, and two who were kicked in the stomach while pregnant - the husband of one was thrown to his death from a train. With special regards to those whose voice could make a difference, including Anup Singh, Cary Sawhney, Pushkaraj S Shirke, and anyone who wants to see this violence to stop, a violence that exists around the world in different forms, but violence and inhumanity, alas, are very hard to root out altogether. bbc/news/magazine-27486450
