BULLDOG BOWL CLIP OF THE DAY (1986 Hall of Fame Bowl) Theyre not necessarily Georgias greatest bowl results, or best bowl plays, but rather significant/notable Bulldog bowl moments in history, and Ill be posting them leading up to Georgias Belk Bowl appearance... Leading Boston College 24-20 with less than a minute remaining in the game, Georgia forces the Eagles to throw incomplete on fourth down, apparently clinching a victory. However, a controversial pass interference penalty was called on the Bulldogs, and Boston College would score the game-winning touchdown soon afterwards to win, 27-24. Why does the Boston College-produced video not fully show the interference, but is focused solely on the incompleted ball? Probably because there should have been NO penalty to begin with; the Eagles pass was clearly an uncatchable ball! And, what in the Dooleys-Junkyard-Dogs is James Brown doing hanging out with Boston College?! Seemingly, NO ONE sided with the Bulldogs for the 1986 Hall of Fame Bowl...
