BUTCHERS SELLING INFECTED MEAT IN BANDIPORA, LOCALS PROTEST Bandipora, July 24: Hundreds of people Thursday staged massive protests against meat sellers in this north Kashmir town who they said were selling infected mutton to people in the area. Demanding action against the butchers, the people took to streets in Ajas area of the district and blocked Srinagar-Leh highway. Infuriated locals alleged that the mutton sellers were selling meat of the animals bitten by rabid dogs. Official sources, however, told Sna that the accused butchers have been arrested. Meanwhile, Moin Kakroo, Tehsildar Sumbal, rushed to the spot along with a team of officials. He said they are ascertaining the facts regarding the matter. #Muneer
