BUYER/SENIOR BUYER Department: Global Procurement Group Reports to: EMEA Procurement Manager Location: Prague, Czech Republic ROLE DESCRIPTION As part of the company Global Procurement Organization you will be joining one of the main consulting company as EMEA Senior Buyer having responsibility for projects within Europe, Middle East and Africa. After your 2nd month in this role you will work independently and take complete ownership of a variety of sourcing and negotiation projects as well as contract review. You will be responsible for 8 to 12 projects at any given time and throughout the year you will close 25 to 30 complex projects. By developing strong relationships with your internal stakeholders you anticipate their needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies for different commodities. Your analytical skills help you evaluate screen and select the right suppliers to meet required business needs as well as bring savings. You actively monitor and manage the supplier network to ensure their performance meets the expectations. ROLE REQUIREMENTS ■ Fluent knowledge of English and one of the following languages: German, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish ■ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing or related field ■ At least 4 years of stable business experience in Procurement, Business Development or Project Management ■ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) ■ Strong understanding of procurement processes and contractual matters ■ Ability to organize and execute RFx through sourcing tools and a talent for developing negotiation strategies ■ Ability to structure own tasks and work independently as well as in diverse cross-functional teams ■ Ability to build relationships paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills ■ Ability to properly handle problem resolution ■ Comfortable working in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards
