Baby found dead in a rubbish container A five months old baby (boy) was found dead at Gaborone Bus rank yesterday (Tuesday) morning. The baby was found inside a Skip Hire container wrapped in a towel inside a plastic bag. According to the Acting Station Commander of Borakanelo Police Station, Superintendent Kealositse Konyana, the baby was found by one of the street vendors. “We received the report at around 0900 hours and we took him to Princess Marina Hospital where his was certified dead. It looks like the baby was dumped in the early hours of the morning,” said Konyana. He said they are appealing to anyone who may have any information on the baby’s mother to contact their office or the nearest police station.
