Back To The Sender Rhetoric.(Sabbath 8 March 2014) A sister from Zimbabwe asked a question, I qoute•••••My question is - Is there a verse in the Bible which states the back to sender prayer? Unqoute•••••• I have also heard pastors mostly those involved in deliverance ministries commanding demons or diseases caused by these demonic entities to go back to the sender. What does it mean? Is this action scriptural, socially and morally acceptable? Can the concept be found in the Holy Bible? Is sending the curse back to the sender not tantamount to witchcraft as those spirits are now under a new management and been given a new mandate to go and attack in revenge? Brethren are you aware of the power of our words that they are spirit and they are life? Now you have a legion of demonic spirit at your command and you command them to go back and attack are you different in anyway with the first initiator of your attack? What does the Bible say regarding revenge? It is written •••{9 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to Elohim’s wrath. For it is written,“Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says YaHWeH”:-)Romans 12:19}•••Even Yahshuas said••• { 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’39 But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well:-)Matthew 5:38-39NET}•••Some may ask Is this not condoning evil? Not at all, my brethren. However, when someone hurts you and repents, then you forgive, in doing so you are restoring the relationship, and you are not giving opportunity to hurt you again in the future. When one shows true Elohim guided love and forgiveness one make oneself not vulnerable to being hurt. But to the one who doesnt acknowledge ones wrongdoings the Bible says you ought•••{ 5 to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Master Yahshua.:-) 1Corrinthians 5:5HRB}••• How do we do that? By not associating intimately with such a person, by doing so he may see his wrong ways and change. The Bible says if anyone is called a brother and is either immoral, or a covetous one, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a extortionist, with such a one do not even break bread to eat with. Brethren is sending a curse back to the sender is it not wicked,(causing another person to suffer hurm be it your sworn enemy or friend) retributory (seeking revenge to the one who caused you hurm) and blasphemous? (Elevating oneself to the only position of the one who rewards or punish. By that elevation you are now saying Vengence is mine not for Yahweh as you have made yourself one infallible?
