Back from the UKC Gateway Shows. Thank you to all who helped with my dogs after my friend and traveling companion took a bad tumble in the ring. That was the day from Hades - car acting up, worrying about my friend, never got a bite to eat until after we got back to hotel; I was getting close to freak out. Anyway, we got home safely, bringing a new UKC Grand Champion, Chicory, and some ribbons for the others. Jarreau, who lives with Claudia Cullison, took BoB and Group 1 in the last show. Congratulations to his other owners. MY friend was very sore, but no major damage, so that was good. The last chapter of the trip was when my friends husband came to pick her up at our house and ran smack into my car that was sitting in the driveway. Whats with me and UKC shows and cars? Shades of last June when the RV dumped Greg and me in IL on the way to the Premier. Congratulations to all the Silken winners.
