Back from the most awesome 10 days in a long time! I got to spend it with my sister and Dad just kicking it around California. I got to see so much awesome stuff and share it with two very important people in my life - Manda L Haye and Dale Miles! We hiked Cathedral Gorge, explored Pioche mines, saw The Roller Coaster south of Vegas - but it was shut down for winds, called Coyotes at dusk, followed a dirt road through the back deserts of Nevada, Drove in LA rush hour traffic - between the sky scrapers downtown, Slept in a parking lot - kinda, saw a Coyote in the middle of LA, Went around Irwindale Speedway at 120 miles per hour, Drove Dad Crazy asking for a Super Late Model, Fished off the New Del Mar, caught red snapper, sand dabbs, belindas, and lots of other rock fish out of the ocean, got sun burned worse than ever before, visited Sean Behunin - saw his garden and stole his oranges, Stayed at Morro Bay, saw an amazing sun set, walked the beach at midnight, tested my home made mariners soap in the ocean at Malibu beach, Watched bottle nose dolphins and humpback wales, walked through the Winchester mansion, saw Hurst Castle, laughed at the happy cows of California, spotted black tail deer, stopped and stayed with Tom and Sharron Bell, learned more about my Dads family tree, ate dinner at the Elephant Bar, Bought Oranges and truck rims at the swap meet, Met with Rodney and Anna Behunin and met their 3 lovely children, and we raced home over 600 Miles in one day after so much adventure. Thats the stuff memories are made of! It cost Dad an arm and a leg to do it all, but it is something I will never forget, and can share with him and my sister till we are old gone.
