Back home after a long day with three tough games and 3 1/2 hours driving. In the end it was not the result we did hope for but consindering the fact that this was only our fifth bonspiel together and that we all have to fight a lot to overcome the disappointing fact that we won the qualification for the europeans but are not allowed to go, then the fourth place is okay. We won the quarter final in an extra end, had to give the semi final away after leading with one in the last end which we played more than bad and lost again in an extra end by an inch against the hungarian ladies. Congratulations to them and of course to the good performance of Team Sidorova and the young swiss team. An interesting point is that none of the teams of the two groups where the two other german teams did play did qualify for the semi finals........ As a team we did show again that we are able to fight back in a game and that there definitly could be a future for us! So we will keep on working and just can hope that we will get our chance!
