Back home in Bohol, its kind of sad seeing the pictures of several 400++ years old churches which turned into rubble after a 7.2 intensity earthquake. These heritage which supposedly remind the younger generation of the rich historic past and Spanishs influence of our culture and terminologies (which we completely are in denial, by the way), have now become tidbits of limestone already. And all I can wish is to rewind 1500s and help build those edifice much stronger. On the other hand, such incident only signifies that everything is all in Gods hand to give or take away in just a matter of seconds. Despite of it all, we thank God for keeping our family and close friends and their families safe and unharmed. I know weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Trust Him. Xoxo
