Back in 1998, I was putting our 1st of 3 children on the School Bus. TODAY-2014, our last of 3 children headed off to school alone. Oh the things that have gone on in this dash 98-14! Moms dont reflect at the beginning of the yr, they reflect at the beginning of the School Year. Tawny Amarosa is off to her 2nd yr of a 4 yr degree at Davis College & we recently entered into the 2nd yr of being Grandparents to (2 yrs) Married daughter, Rayven Mejia & Josues little offspring, Nali. As the world around us gets continually worse, morally, our prayer is that we raised up children to love & respect God 1st, and that serving him, though not easy, will help all the other aspects of life be meaningful. The God-given job of raising children, is just God letting us borrow His children for a short time, compared to eternity, and we will be held accountable for how we chose to raise them. There is an instruction book, but the blessings are in the details. So thankful for an end-of-summer trip to NYCity to unwind & get ready for another school year. cant wait for watchin some local football & then Romans basketball season. Lord help us on the journey, Amen!
