Back in 2008, a scientist by the name of William Jostlin hypothesized that crabs hear from their legs. To prove this, Jostlin prepared a crab and yelled at the crab from the top of his lungs. Just like he thought, the crab ran away immediately upon hearing the sound. He then took off all of the crabs legs and yelled at it again. However, this time the crab did not move at all, proving Jostlins hypothesis to be correct.
