Back in March my son was awoken to if your calling the cops on me Im gonna kill you look around I replied good possibility Im not the only one who called, as I hung up on the 911 operator, my phone rang as he walked away and my son came out crying, address confirmation an a sea of blue in tactical, comes around corner. Mines not was all it took to set off a violent (not his first) attack on a fellow resident, he was out on bail before our power was restored and his victim was released from ER with a fractured skull requiring reconstructive surgery, his charge as deemed prudent by MPD/City Prosecutor Misdemeanor Assault causing bodily damage, instead of the Felony Assault with intent & maybe witness tampering/intimidation(911 recording) to Superior court for (slam dunk) prosecution. News to me... did you know you can get a Public Defender if charged with a misdemeanor in Mesa? Me either, but he did. Funny as hell where he sits, hed do it again Ive heard. 12 mths DV classes, $500.00 fine @ pmts of $10.00 mth.(plead out). His restitution hearing(current medical bills, less surgery stand over $11K), rescheduled for next month. Hes no fool, away from those pesky cameras he transforms from nervous man to intimidation man. A storm is brewing here and the owners dont want to see, allowing a violent tenant to remain drives out those who can afford to leave (I cant), perhaps they tied their own hands years ago by allowing this level 3 offender from New York residence after he was reclassified in Arizona as a Level 1 offender, I dont know. What I do know, New York got it right He IS DANGEROUS & VIOLENT most likely to reoffend, he is a Lifelong required to register Felon who possesses a crossbow pistol. (HELLO! FELON WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON, VIOLATION ALERT!) Intimidate me my ass, back down? Dont think gonna happen, backed into a corner I only see 2 kids losing, living here might very well cost my kid both parents. Our society will destroy a deemed vicious animal within 7 days unless stopped by the courts, yet gives special privilege/protection against being harassed to the lowest of human kind. Where did we lose sight of acceptable consequences as deterrents for those who just dont get it. Is your power out? the whole complex is out! Mines not... Maybe SRP is to blame? It was after all their outage that created the first question, right?
